In order to find out if you have the 3185 or 3186 movement, it is always a safe and good way to try the wobble test. If you set the hour-hand separately the GMT hand won’t wobble if it’s the 3186 . I'm looking to purchase a Rolex GMT II Master 116710 Black and have read that the A3186 movement is a timebomb. The majority of reviews I've found are saying the watch breaks shortly after it's delivered, it isn't compatible with other parts and some models are very loud (rotor). The hour hand is not advancing while the watch is running, however the the minute, GMT, seconds and date are all working.
