hello guys, i'm relatively new to watches. this is my entry to mechanical watches after buying a couple of quartz luminoxes. bought it second hand in a pretty beat up condition. . Hello, I've been researching for my first watch with an in-house movement, and a Panerai 312 has caught my interest. I love the look of the 1950 case but since my wrist size is only 6.5", I'm concerned that it will be too thick for me (I've read that it is over 18mm). Pardon the potato quality picture, but I feel like that older-generation of Panerai has been increasingly overlooked by the watch community - so here's a lume shot!
New Panerai owner! Just took possesion of a preloved PAM 312. Well appearantly most Panerai owners have smaller than "normal" wrists. My wrist is 7 1/2" and the factory Croc strap on the PAM 312 just barely catches on the last hole, with not much being tucked in the loop.
My first rep: Panerai Luminor VSF Pam 0312 from geektime! Wrist or Watch Shot. My very first rep. Ordered on 12/29 through geektime. Eric was helpful and able to get my order processed quickly. didn't have much expectations, but now I want to order more. Sort by: 40mm PAM wrist shots. I know there is always a debate about the best size for a PAM. I have tried 40mm,42mm,44mm,45mm, and even 47mm on at my nearest AD in Norwich. Only the 40 and 42mm suited my wrist. Now I know the size needed, I am just trying to narrow down the exact watch.
