Hello All, I just purchased my first YSL bag, and was wondering what their customer service was like on things like repair of 'defects' and such. I'm hoping the quality of the bag will hold up for years and years, but in cases where there is peeling or cracking of the glazing, will they repair. Yesterday I received an email saying my bag was done and ready to be shipped back and today it arrived all the way to Sweden in less than 24h. It looks absolutely perfect and I am more than happy with the service from YSL customer care. It took them 6 weeks from when I shipped the bag until I had it back home. I have missed this bag so much!

This has led me to believe that YSL knowingly sells defective bags to unauthorized retailers and that’s why they won’t repair them. This is the only YSL bag that I didn’t purchase directly from them or a major department store and it’s the only one that has an issue.

After emailing YSL customer service back and forth for two weeks, I was told to mail it in and the repairs would take 4 to 8 weeks which seems pretty absurd for the price paid for the bag and it only been 3 months owning it.

I love Dior but, in this case, I much prefer the YSL bag. I think the YSL is more classic then the Diorama. You said the YSL WOC was edgy. I think the Diorama is way more edgy then the YSL WOC. I really think the Diorama may look very dated in a few years time whereas the YSL WOC is more classic so less tendency to look dated. I got small loulou few weeks ago, I got it directly from YSL store (Germany) and it came with authenticity card. Production date on the card is also 2022. Maybe that is very recent. I am planning to get soon another ysl (toy puffer), I will pay attention if it will come with cards or not.

I had that exact one and it was dreadful. The brass colouring wore off within one month and the corners of the leather wore down in two months! I complained to gucci and it took them about 7 months for them to inspect it and refund me. Their customer service is dreadful. I actually replaced it with the ysl one and it has been great so far. The last thread I could find about YSL warranty was already 2 years old. Not sure if anything changed over the last few years.
