23-02-16, 03:39 PM. Hi there, I had a 312 previously and would choose the 312 over the 359 . It just fits the brand better than a very fine, decorated calibre. But I like its features even more: the hour hand can be adjusted independently of the minute hand e. g. in case you are travelling (or to set the date) and it has three . Personally i like plain simple dials, why i own Panerais i suppose, so of your two .
I have a 359 and the reason I prefer it over the others is that it has Arabic hour markers for the 12 hours round the dial (save no.3 where the date window occupies the place where the no.3 should appear). Different dials and different case finish. 312's dial has the "6, 9, 12" and has a brushed case. 359 has the arabic dial with a polished case. Same dimensions for the case, and both watches use the same movement. I prefer 312 rather than 359 because of crystal clarity and reflection and because of lume. These 312/320/329 have indeed excellent lume. And this is not my best lume pic.
The 359 may not, however, be the right PAM for you. In many ways, it is NOT a typical Panerai. It differs to most Luminor 1950. It has a polished case, whereas the 312, 321, 351, etc. all have brushed cases. The obvious difference is the 11-numeral dial whereas most PAM have 3 or 4 cardinal numerals with “sticks” marking 5, 10, etc. Deep Look: Panerai 312 Review. ok guys i am completely new to Panerai. here is my question.is the 312 and 359 the same watch just different dials?? I thought i read somewhere that the 359 was some sort of LE. But when i checked pricing they were both the same 7400 USD. I am quite curious to see how the 359 owners feel. Being new to Panerai, having some troubles in comparing the 1950 cases (PAM 359) vs 1950 cases with super dome (PAM 233). If anyone has any comparative photos of the two .
23-02-16, 03:39 PM. Hi there, I had a 312 previously and would choose the 312 over the 359 anytime due to the dna factor and that the 359's dial does not appeal to me. For me, i like my pam's dial to be simple and clean. But there are exceptions like the 233. FullHouse. It just fits the brand better than a very fine, decorated calibre. This brings us to the Glassware LV-Regulator (LV standing for Low Voltage) which can be configured for 5v, 9v or 12v DC output and makes use of a 3A low-dropout regulator (LD1085). As stated by John Broskie on the Glassware website: "The LV-Regulator uses a simple RC filter (1 ohm & 10kµF) as a pre-filter before the LDO .
